- This research consisted of 128 patients, who were examined with MRIs and diagnosed with ruptured discs, 95% of them fully recovered from their illness after receiving 6 months of the Jaseng treatment protocol, which included Chuna medicine, Chuna manipulation, and acupuncture treatment. The research result significantly contributed to scientific proof that Jaseng’s treatment is effective for spinal disorders.

U.S. Substance Patent for “Shinbarometin”
- The core ingredient in Chuna Medicine acquired a U.S. and a Korean substance patent.
- In March 2003, Jaseng Hospital in conjunction with the Seoul National University Natural Resource Research Center announced that a new substance named Shinbarometin was successfully extrated from Jaseng Herbal Medicine and was awarded a U.S. Patent from the FDA.
- A research study conducted by the Natural Products Research Institute of Seoul National University confirmed the substance “Shinbarometin” as an effective anti-inflammatory agent as well as an aid in bone regeneration and nerve restoration.
