Jepil Yoon, L.Ac, Ph.D


Jepil Yoon, Chief Clinical Director of Jaseng Center, a highly skilled Licensed Acupuncturist offers a wide range of interventions to his patients. His passion is to introduce Eastern Korean Medicine. His interest towards Eastern Medicine is attributed to his grandfather, who was an Acupuncturist in Daejeon, Korea, where he provided free services within the village.

Jepil Yoon earned his Ph.D. in Herbal Pharmacology at Kyung Hee University, Korea and completed his Internship at Semyung University, Korea. In addition, he completed his four-year Residency at Jaseng Hospital and obtained his Specialty License in Physical Rehabilitation.

After obtaining his licenses, he traveled to Sri Lanka in 2001 & 2004 to provide medical service and volunteered in other regions such as Vietnam, Korea, Kenya and Ethiopia. While in Ethiopia, Jepil Yoon helped at EHNRI (Ethiopia Health and Nutrition Research Institute) for three years as a volunteer physician where he treated patients and assisted the community to conduct research related to Ethiopian indigenous plants.

Patient Care Philosophy:
Dr. Yoon doesn’t just treat disease, he treats people. He understands that every patient has unique needs and he meets them with constant doses of personal attention. Dr. Yoon resides in the community and enjoys quality time with his wife and family.

Sanghwa Lee, L.Ac, Ph.D



Sanghwa Lee, a clinical director of Jaseng Center, is an exceptionally well trained acupuncture practitioner with extensive hospital background in pain management and rehabilitation medicine.
Following his interest in the therapeutic value of alternative medicine, he obtained his Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He had attended a clinical residency program in International Studies of Oriental Medicine at Kyung Hee University Oriental Medical Hospital in Seoul, Korea. In addition, he had successfully completed spine fellowship training at Jaseng Hospital of Oriental Medicine. He is one of the few acupuncturists in the State who hold a staff privilege at hospital setting. He is currently a privileged allied medical staff under the department of surgery at Olympia Medical Center to provide a multidisciplinary approach for those who are seeking for alternative options for their well being.

Patient Care Philosophy;
He is a firm believer in Integrative Medicine and Relationship-Centered Care.
He understands that diagnosis and treatment has to be selected in order to best meet the unique needs of each patient. The realm of choices shall include lifestyle modification and complementary approaches as well as conventional medicine. He values practitioner-patient relationship as a partnership, which encourages patient autonomy and seeks the needs and insights of both parties. The quality of this relationship is an essential contributor to the healing process.

Soojin Oh, L.Ac


Soojin Oh is a highly motivated licensed acupuncturist with versatile talents and sincere heart. Her vision as an acupuncturist is to give a hand to people whoever needs with what she is gifted.

After graduating from Yonsei University in Korea with B.A. degree of Sociology and English, she came to California to achieve the license of acupuncture in U.S. She obtained her master’s degree of acupuncture and oriental medicine at South Baylo University with outstanding academic records and various awards like student service award and the best clinic intern award. Besides the educational background, her best mentors are in her family. Raised up in the family of oriental medical doctors, acupuncture and herbal medicine naturally became the most trustful method of curing disease to her, and that firm belief now empowers her to treat patients with confidence.

She has been appointed as clinical director at Jaseng Wellness Clinic. Prior to Jaseng Center, she was trained professionally in one of her family acupuncture clinics as a weight loss consultant. She has clinically experienced obese patients with other internal complications and becomes well-knowledge about external life style influencing internal human diseases. Also, she used to work as a volunteer acupuncturist every week at Peace Clinic, Anaheim, for various ethnic groups. She saw variety of people from diverse cultural backgrounds, and they all loves and becomes the fan of acupuncture and herbal medicine after the treatment. Positive feedback always makes her more initiative and progressive.

Patient Care Philosophy:
She treats patients based on the concepts of Mind-Body-Spirit as a whole. As “Jaseng(self healing power)” stands for, she believes in that every human body has its own mechanism of healing. Healthcare professional is the helper to improve and monitor that healing process to lead the patient’s condition to the optimal stage.

She enjoys her pastime going out to bask herself in the sun or hike in the nearby park. After being in door for days of work, sunlight and fresh breeze with scent of nature always replenish her with new energy.

Wan Kim, L.Ac


Wan Kim, a licensed acupuncturist who holds a master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine has worked as an acupuncture practitioner at Jaseng Center for years. The purpose and mission of his healthcare profession is to provide his patients with the highest quality care available.

As an honors graduate of South Baylo University in Anaheim, California, he excelled academically and clinically. He was recognized for his clinical excellence and participated in many extracurricular seminars to increase his skills and knowledge in various ways of treating patients. He also received extra training in the analysis and treatment of spine and joint disorders through Jaseng Center, a specialization in the treatment of acute and chronic pain, a specialization in herbal medicine and nutrition.He spent his undergraduate years at Sogang University of South Korea, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Korean Literature with a focus in linguistic science of Korean language. In Korea, he spent a good amount of his free time on community service, his favorite of which involved coordinating an after school program at a neighborhood elementary school.

Patient Care Philosophy:
His patients benefit from his broad spectrum of techniques which allow him to personalize care to maximize both comfort and results. From two days old to too old to admit, from marathon runner to TV series marathon watcher, from Iron Man to Iron Chef, each patient of his receives safe, gentle, and effective holistic care. He is passionate about his work, and his focus is on restoring and maintaining patient health and wellness. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, climbing, and playing tennis.

On Jung Park, L.Ac

On Jung Park is a well trained licensed acupuncturist. Her professionalism as a health care provider comes along with enthusiasm and work ethic. Her passion is to help people suffering from diseases in a holistic way.

She received the degree of Master and Ph. D in Acupuncture and Tuina from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in China after graduating from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine with Bachelor’s degree of Chinese medicine. She has been working in the field of Oriental Medicine since entering graduate school, as Internship and Residency at Dongzhimen Hospital affiliated to Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. While her residency, she obtained Chinese Medical License in China authorized by Public Health Ministry of China. Later, she had trained at Beijing TongRenTang Pharmacy, affiliated Specialist Hospital with dermatology specialist and Internal Medicine Specialist. This training allowed her to experience many different types of patients with various diseases.

She has worked extensively at private clinic in the areas of pain disease, psychological disease (clinical depression and insomnia), nerve system disease (paralyzing stroke, Bell’s paralysis and face muscle spasm), anaphylaxis disease, bone origin joint disease (various joint arthritis), gynecological disease (infertility, dysmenorrheal, amenorrhea and irregular menstruation amenorrhea), dermatitis (herpes zoster, neural dermatitis, acne and alopecia) and fatigue syndrome.

Peter Jung, D.C


Dr. Jung graduated of Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and has been practicing chiropractic since 1998. He has taught several x-ray classes at local vocational college for several years and conducted several seminars regarding nutritional and chiropractic subjects for my patients and in public in the past.

As a chiropractor, Dr. Jung place great importance in providing a thorough diagnosis of my patient’s pain/discomforts and needs first. It is his passion to ensure the patients to receive the best possible care and treatment so that they can live a better and pain-free life with their family and friends.

Dr. Jung also specializes in nutritional care and believes that many chronic pain and disease can be avoided through proper nutrition, exercise, and healthy lifestyle. He’s committed to educating the patients as well as supporting their choice of live a healthy and wholesome life.

Hyuk S. Kweon, D.C.


Hyuk Kweon, D.C. is a board certified chiropractor in the state of California. He received his doctorate of chiropractic degree from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and completed his graduate and undergraduate education at Indiana State University.

Dr. Kweon’s love for the profession is most evident when he is with young patients. His focus lies primarily on pediatric and adolescent care, specializing in scoliosis and posture correction. Through his extensive training and experience, he also specializes in sports as well as work related injuries, rehabilitation, and degenerative conditions.

His patients know him to be compassionate, loving, and always ready to teach. His mission is to educate as many families as possible on matters of health so they can make educated choice and in turn live healthy prosperous lives.

Eunshik Shin, D.C.

Dr. Eunshik Shin is a young passionate chiropractor. He awarded with Dr. Lester McCoy Clinical Excellence Award from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in Whittier, California. He has demonstrated excellence in all aspects of diagnosis, treatment and patient management. During his school time, he was a teaching assistant in Anatomy and Physiology in Basic Science Department and also a teaching assistant in Chiropractic adjusting department. His extensive cross-disciplinary training goes far beyond the standards for chiropractic licensure.

Before seeking his doctorate degree of chiropractic, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from The state of New York University, University at Buffalo.

His approach to treatment is both holistic and evidence based using a wide variety of techniques such as Diversified, SOT, Gonstead, Activator, ART(Active Release Technique) and COX technique.  His modalities include: laser therapy, muscular therapy and deep tissue work, lymphatic drainage, and sports massage. Dr. Shin actively cooperates with other providers in various fields to better obtain his goal as a healthcare provider.
